Why East Friesians?
East Friesians are best known for their exceptional milk production, making them ideal for small dairy operations, homesteads, or anyone interested in milk-based farm products like cheese, yogurt, or soap. Even more, they are known for their calm and friendly disposition, making them a joy to raise and work with.
While there’s currently no official East Friesian registry in North America, we carefully track our flock’s genetics and maintain transparent breeding records to ensure quality and consistency. Our foundation animals were originally sourced from Karras Farms, but our focus has always been on building something truly our own—with integrity, care, and intention.
Breeding for the Future
We are actively developing advanced breeding programs, including the use of artificial insemination (AI), to expand and improve our East Friesian lines. We're also integrating DNA testing to better understand the breed makeup and milk production potential of our animals. This allows us to make informed decisions and pass on strong, sustainable genetics to the next generation.
Despite early doubts from some in the industry, we’ve stayed the course—raising high-quality dairy sheep through ethical, transparent practices. Our vision is clear: responsible breeding, a welcoming farm community, and a commitment to helping others succeed with dairy sheep.
Join Our Community
Each year, we host a farm shearing and foot-trimming event in January or February. Buyers are warmly invited to bring their animals back to the farm to participate in this hands-on care day. It’s a chance to connect with other shepherds, learn from experienced hands, and give your sheep the attention they deserve.
We also offer limited breeding services back to our rams when available. Restrictions apply—please contact us for current options.
East Friesian Sheep for Sale
Our East Friesians are bred with purpose and care. Lambs may be available seasonally, depending on breeding cycles and reservations. We prioritize placing animals with farms that share our values and commitment to ethical, intentional husbandry.
